Overview
Like many, we at RM Results can see the future potential for artificial intelligence to resolve many issues faced by those working within the assessment industry, including increasing automation of the marking of assessments.
However, we know that the move to autonomous marking will not happen overnight, and certainly not in high-stakes summative assessments. We predict however that, over a period of time, progress in artificial intelligence will enable increased automation in marking – leading to greater efficiency and quality assurance.
Download our ‘Five level model for the adoption of machine marking’ to see what each stage might look like, which processes are likely to be automated and the level of human intervention or control in each case.
