RM, the global EdTech, digital learning and assessment solutions provider, has today launched the public beta of its new content analysis software solution, RM Echo.
RM Echo will help educators, authors, and exam bodies ensure written content is original whilst helping to make sure proper attribution is given to sources. Users will be able to upload written content such as exam answers and essays, alongside key sources such as textbooks and set texts, which RM Echo will then analyse and compare. RM Echo will be able to provide in-depth insights on originality and areas of similarity across content, which can then be assessed for evidence of collusion, plagiarism or improper citing. Through RM Echo, reviewers will be given complete control and oversight of content curation.
The development of RM Echo has been informed by customer demand and follows a number of internal and customer-facing proof-of-concept products. The initial beta of RM Echo was first successfully showcased to customers earlier this year, with this public beta the next key step on the road to release. RM Echo is designed to be highly scalable, with use cases ranging from a single user checking their own work, to major awarding organisations reviewing large quantities of content.
RM Echo will be fully integrated as part of RM Ava, the Company’s end-to-end virtual accreditation platform, but will also be available to customers outside of the RM Ava ecosystem. The launch of RM Echo further expands the Company’s ability to offer a full suite of services to enable the transition to digital assessments, which is at the centre of RM’s growth strategy.
