RM is delighted to announce that we have extended our successful partnership with Lebone Media, to use RM’s e-marking platform for Educational Institutions.
The new contract builds on the successful relationship that RM and Lebone have had since 2020. Working together, we introduced e-marking for the Gauteng Department of Education in South Africa in the midst of the COVID pandemic in a highly successful pilot (read the case study here: Case Study | Gauteng).
Over the past five years that programme has continued to expand, with 110,000 scripts marked digitally in 2024. This has driven significant benefits by making the marking process quicker, more accurate and more secure, while also reducing travelling costs and saving travelling time for exam markers.
This new contract will see RM and Lebone build on this success by continuing to expand the number of papers being marked digitally, increasing the number of marking sessions a year from one to two and marking between 500,000-750,000 scripts annually, where RM's e-marking platform is used to mark the final, standardised, high-stakes exams for Grade 12 learners in the province, marking the end of their secondary schooling and serving as a requirement for university entrance.
RM is committed to a collaborative approach to customer relationships. We are always looking to find ways to address challenges and improve solutions. As part of this, we have also developed a new training programme for markers in order to reduce the time and cost of training large cohorts, using e-learning modules and a broadcast demonstration.
Whether you're scaling globally, refining quality, or just starting your digital journey, we're here to help you get it right — with technology, expertise and outcomes you can trust.
